Hey there… I’m Hunny

I’m so happy you stopped by! Grab a drink, get comfortable, and stay awhile. If you’re curious about the woman behind the camera (and sometimes in front of it), here’s a little about me…

I’m a Wisconsin girl with a passion for creating, exploring, and living life with a little adventure mixed in. Whether I’m behind my camera, covered in paint, digging in my garden, or planning my next road trip, I believe life is meant to be experienced and shared.

One of my biggest passions is gardening and plants. My favorite flower is the orchid, and I have a 10′ x 12′ greenhouse that’s filled with plants I’ve collected and cared for over the years. Gardening definitely wasn’t something I mastered overnight, but now it’s one of my favorite ways to relax, and watching everything thrive is incredibly rewarding.

I’ve always been an artist at heart. I’ve spent years drawing, painting, sculpting, welding, creating, and bringing ideas to life in just about every medium I can get my hands on. Photography eventually became my greatest creative outlet, and today it’s both my profession and my passion. I especially love capturing landscapes, wildlife, and the beauty of the outdoors. I also photograph weddings, families, seniors, and portraitsu2014but boudoir has truly captured my heart. There’s something empowering about helping people feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves.

When I’m not creating, you’ll probably find me doing yoga, swimming laps in my backyard pool, or out exploring somewhere new. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do, especially with my sweet dog by my side. She’s the best adventure partner I could ask for, and together we’re always looking for our next destination. One day I hope to travel outside the United States and photograph the incredible beauty our world has to offer.

A few fun facts about me… I currently have 13 tattoos (with plans for more!) and around 25 piercings. I’ll let your imagination decide where they all are.
